An electric boiler may be the perfect solution for heating your home if you are unable to have gas. It heats your water with an element, much like a kettle, and is a quieter alternative to a conventional gas boiler. Electric boilers are typically smaller systems, so they may not suit larger homes, and running costs depend on your electricity tariff. All our engineers are fully trained and certificated to work on all types of electric boilers.
An unvented hot water cylinder is the modern day equivalent of your old gravity fed system. It does not require a cold water storage tank, so it frees up space in your home: your mains cold water supply acts as your tank, increasing the hot water pressure to your taps and showers.
If your boiler already heats your old cylinder, there is no need to change it. Your existing gas central heating boiler can easily be adapted, using the same controls you already have installed.

Central heating systems are prone to build ups of magnetite, dirt and sludge, and new boilers are vulnerable to them. When we install a new boiler on your system we always recommend flushing and cleaning your existing system first.
We only use Adey professional heating solutions. The filter draws magnetite out of your system so no dirty water gets into your new boiler, and when we service your boiler once a year we check the filter, clean it if required and put it back together.
